- Description
- The purpose of this work activity is to provide support to the DOE-SR with expertise in the areas of administrative and technical coordination support services for work conducted at the Savannah River Site under the ARRA. The contractor will serve as facilitator to track progress on ARRA initiatives, prepare and submit reports per the requirements of the Act. With the ARRA funding allocation of more than $1.6 Billion, SRS will decommission surplus nuclear reactor facilities, accelerate transuranic (TRU) waste disposition, remediate soil and groundwater, and complete area closure. The award was competitively awarded as a Labor Hour Task Order due to the Government's inability to forecast or define the M&O contractor's evolving scope of work. The DOE oversight of the contractor's performance of the ARRA scope of work will be intermittent, unpredictable, and undefined as the scope evolves and the work is executed.
