- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and further written notice will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses in accordance with FAR 52.219-6 ALT I. The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Indian Head Division (NSWC/IHD) has a requirement for Non-Medicinal bulk Liquid Carbon Dioxide, 99.5% purity, and Bulk Liquid Nitrogen to be delivered to Government-owned tanks at NSWC/IHD locations in accordance with RFQ N00174-09-Q-0242. Deliveries of the Bulk Liquid Carbon Dioxide shall be on an as-needed basis to specified tanks within 2 days of call from NSWC/IHD. Deliveries of Bulk Liquid Nitrogen shall be made over 12 times per year to specified tanks within 3 days of call from NSWC/IHD. The RFQ includes options for 4 additional years. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 325120 and FSC Code is 6810. Offerors shall provide a FIRM FIXED PRICE offer with all respective delivery or other fees included in unit pricing. Offerors submitting quotes other than FIRM FIXED PRICE will be considered non-responsive. Deliveries shall be F.O.B. Destination. Offerors submitting quotes including other than F.O.B. Destination will be considered non-responsive. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on October 26, 2009. Responses not including all pages or with incomplete information will be rejected as non-responsive. Provide responses to Michael T.
