- (This modification/amendment is to extend the due date/time quotes are due. See response date. ) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2009-08-25. NAICS is 811212 and the size standard is $25 Million. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. The Dept of Labor's Wage Determination WD 05-2043 (Rev 10) applies. The AFFTC/PKEW, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following service: The potential vendor will furnish labor, transportation equipment, materials, tools, supplies and supervision necessary to provide a two-year Full-Care Maintenance for Onyx 4 Ultimate Vision NUMA system simulation host computer system in accordance with the below Statement of Work. Period of performance is 22 Sep 2009 through 21 Sep 2011. (NOTE: Please provide separate pricing for the 1st year period 22 Sep 2009 - 21 Sep 2010 and 2nd year, 22 Sep 2010 - 21 Sep 2011. STATEMENT OF WORK ONYX 4 EXTENDED WARRANTY 1.0 Description of Services 1.1 Introduction This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirement for the contractor to provide extended warranty services on one SGI Onyx 4 Simulation Host Computer supporting the Electronic Warfare Group and the 461 FLTS mission rehearsal and control room training requirements at Edwards AFB, CA. See attached list of items. 1.2 Scope The contractor shall provide comprehensive hardware and software support during standard business hours. This includes: • next business day • on-site response for hardware problems • telephone technical support • updates to SGI software products • Standard business hours 5 days a week, 9 hours a day • Fixed Support Cost, no incremental charges by incident 1.3 Program Management 1.3.1 Task Management The contractor shall notify the Electronic Warfare Group (EWG) Technical POC, Marilyn Lang at 661-277-7009 in a timely manner concerning any issues that would adversely impact the contractor's ability to meet and satisfy the requirements of this SOW. (End of Statement of Work) Interested parties who believe they can meet the all the requirements described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery (FOB destination) to Edwards AFB CA 93524. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
