Description

NAICS CODE: 492110 This is a notice of intent from the U S Naval Hospital, Guam to issue a sole source purchase to FEDERAL EXPRESS for transporting medical supplies, medical equipments, laboratory speciemns and govt documents both inbounds and outbounds to multi-facilites in Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa and the United States. The determination not to compete this proposed purchase order has be made according to FAR 13.106(2) (b). FEDEDRAL EXPRESS pre-authorized U S Naval Hospital with charge account for emergency requirements due to patient care. These urgnecy requirements must be delivered within twenty four (24) hours or less. Contractor will be responsible for picking up from and deliver to the U S Naval Hospital, Guam. The Government contemplates awarding a FIRM FIXED Price Purchase Order. The Contractor shall perform all necessary actions to meet U S Customs and Transportation National Security Regulations. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside. Period of Performance: 01 October 2009 througn 30 September 2010. The anticipated posting date of this solicitation is on 19 September 2009 and closing date on or about 29 Sep 2009.
