Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation number W911RZ-09-T-0443. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for Skis and other Ski equipment. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423910 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. **This requirement is BRAND NAME or EQUAL.** The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001 Black Diamond Killowatt Skis (Size:175cm) (qty.180) model#BD115020 Specs: construction: formula one technology; sidewalls: steep, solid fiberglass with cap-style construction; Ski must be off white in color, ski must be at least 95mm at the waist. CLIN 0002 Black Diamond Killowatt Skis (Size:185cm) (qty.40), model#BD115020 Specs: construction: formula one technology; sidewalls: steep, solid fiberglass with cap-style construction; Ski must be off white in color, ski must be at least 95mm at the waist. CLIN 0003 Black Diamond Killowatt Skis (Size:165cm) (qty.40), model#BD115020 Specs: construction: formula one technology; sidewalls: steep, solid fiberglass with cap-style construction; Ski must be off white in color, ski must be at least 95mm at the waist. CLIN 0004 Diamer Freeride Plus Bindings (size:large) (qty.130) Specs: binding must be designed to be used with AT boots, have a releasable toe clip and adjustable DIN setting up to 12.; it must come with a 4-position climbing heel, material: composite and aluminum, CLIN 0005 Diamer Freeride Plus Bindings (size:medium) (qty.130) Specs: binding must be designed to be used with AT boots, have a releasable toe clip and adjustable DIN setting up to 12.; it must come with a 4-position climbing heel, material: composite and aluminum, CLIN 0006 Black Diamond Boundary Ski Poles (qty.260), Specs: poles must be white in color, must use a flick lock system for adjusting the length, must have wrist straps with padded interior and easy-access design, 18mm aluminum upper with 16mm aluminum lower. CLIN 0007 Black Diamond Ascention Climbing Skins (qty.260) Specs: must be designed for wide skis and have the ability to be fitted to different ski widths and lengths, required skin must fit skis of 125mm width, provide 10cm of length adjustment, adjustable tip attachment to fit a wide range of ski tip shapes. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
