Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number is W912HQ-09- T-0038 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. This solicitation is a 100 percent set aside for small business; the associated NAICS code is 334515 and small business size standard is 500 employees. Line Item 0001 Quantity 2 (two); Megger Part Number MPRT8430H3T6A2 (OR EQUAL) Protective Relay System Light Weight Enclosure with Extra Handle, includes 30 Ampere maximum output capability per channel, 3 Voltage / Current Channels, Touch View Interface, Hard-Sided Transit Case, Standard American 20-Amp Power Cord. Configured for 60 Hertz Line Frequency Default. Includes AVTS Basic Software. Line Item 0002 - Shipping/Delivery destination and schedule is as follows: C Co, 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power) Bldg 1416 Jackson Loop Road Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 STATEMENT OF WORK Protective Relay Test System Light Weight Background: The 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power) deploys worldwide to provide prime electrical power and electrical systems expertise in support of the warfighter mission and National Response Plan. The units primary equipment assets are medium voltage generators and power plants that require special equipment for installation and calibration. The 249th Engineer Battalion is geographically dispersed in three CONUS locations (Hawaii, North Carolina, and Virginia) and two OCONUS locations (Afghanistan and Iraq). Scope: The unit has specific mission requirements to accurately test power equipment associated with the Deployable Power Generation Distribution System. The relay test system will provide a comprehensive and dependable test solution for installations and relays, as well as provide both manual and automatic relay testing capability. The equipment will be dispersed to a deploying company that requires this item to maintain the serviceability of their equipment. The current testing equipment in the Battalion is not sufficient to perform all the previously mentioned tests. Warranty Contractor shall provide a one year limited warranty on the purchased item. Period of Performance: Equipment should be delivered no later than 30 days after the award of this contract. The Government will award a contract resulting form this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
