Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with theformat in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government plans to issue a FFP contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the acquisition of the following: TMIC II Processor Assembly 128 MB (P/N: 8000-0102-02-128MB), 1 ea; Required Delivery: 120 Days ARO. The proposed purchase order action is for supplies/services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 USC 2304 (c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one (1) responsible source. The government intends to make an award to the OEM, DRS Intelligence and Avionics Solutions, Inc, 4391 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Dayton, OH 45432. The Government will no longer accept nor process hard copies of Invoices/Receiving Reports. These documents must be generated electronically via the Wide Area Work Flow-Receipts and! Acceptance (WAWF-RA). All packages and shipping papers shall be marked with the order number to permit effective processing and timely payment. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling1-888-227-2423, or via the internet @www.ccr.gov. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within five days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business and whether they are domestic or foreign owned. Numbered Note 22 applies.
