- Technical Requirements - Please see all 6 tabs in the document Overview This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit only emailed quotes for the RFQ. This acquisition is a 100% HUBZone set aside under the North American Industrial Classification Standard Code 541519 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. Below is the combined synopsis/solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. All offerors MUST BE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTERED (CCR). Information concerning CCR registration requirements may be viewed via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ or by calling the CCR Registration Centers at 1-888-227-2423. OFFERORS SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETE COPY OF THE PROVISION AT FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS, WITH THEIR OFFER. Required period of performance is 10/1/2009 – 09/30/2010 with two option periods. The contractor shall provide hardware and software maintenance on the following: Network Routers, Data Switches, Security Appliances and Wireless Access Points. BASIS FOR BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION As a result of a competitive process under Tcc-05-HQ-G-0074, the OCC entered into a seven year standardization program using CISCO routers, hubs, switched and related equipment which is required to support the OCC’s Internet Infrastructure. INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS Special Notice to Offerors a) The exclusive responsibility for selection will reside with the Government. Proprietary information submitted in response to this solicitation will be protected from unauthorized disclosure as required by Subsection 27 of the Office of Procurement Policy Act as amended (41 U.S.C 423) (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”) as implemented in FAR. Submission of Complete Quotes Offerors are cautioned to strictly comply with all instructions within this solicitation to ensure submission of a complete quote. Failure to furnish a complete quote, at the time of quote submission, may result in the proposal being unacceptable to the Government and elimination from consideration for award. Please provide any maintenance or relevant agreements that must be signed by the OCC. Agreements must be reviewed prior to award. Quote Format and Submission Instructions Deadline for Receipt of Proposal Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 12:00 PM. Offerors assume full responsibility for ensuring that their quotes are received by the due date and time as specified under FAR 52.212-1. Quotes shall be submitted via email to Andrea.Katz@occ.treas.gov. Evaluation The OCC will make an award to the lowest offeror whose products are deemed technically acceptable in accordance with FAR Part 13.500 (Test Program For Certain Commercial Items).
