Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912CM09T0230. The Wiesbaden Contracting Center intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the disposal of damaged/outdated food within the next two days for the Defence Commissary Agency (DeCA) Central Distribution Center, located in Gremersheim, Germany. This requirement is considered a commercial service as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 2.101-Definitions. Subsequently, the evaluation process will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. The proposed award shall be a firm-fixed price (FFP) requirements contract. Orders will be placed as services are needed. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition with no set-asides. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 484230. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested Offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration in order to be considered for award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the internet at (http://www.ccr.gov/) telephone 1-888-227-2423. Offerors must also have registered Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov before submitting an offer. No responses to this pre-solicitation are necessary. **No additional information will be provided prior to the release of the solicitation. **
