- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and shall be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). Attached is Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N63394-09-T-0113. This solicitation/invitation to bid documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-26 and DFARS Change Notice 20080722. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm The NAICS code is 334515 and the Small Business Standard is 500 Employees. This combined synopsis/solicitation is SOLE SOURCE. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, CA requests responses from qualified sources, in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any firms believing that they can provide these parts, per part number may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this note. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be reponsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the part without causing programmatic hardships. --------- DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEMS: 6 EA UNIVERSAL BREAKOUT BOX (TEXT BOX), PN: 4000-4004-347. This box is used to check out missiles in launch tubes of Vertical Launching Systems (VLS) systems on surface ships. Box is carried aboard ships with VLS systems to test these systems and then returned to the shop. This box is used to test launch tube electrical functions with those missiles contained in the tube. There are no cables with this systems, but there are about 20 connectos used on this box.
