Description

This posting is to update the Synopsis with a class code of 70. Synopsis The United States Army CECOM LCMC, APG, MD 21010, intends to procure production, testing, and management of the KGV-72 Programmable In-Line Encryption Device (PIED), Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) device that provides cryptographic processing in support of classified communications for the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) and Blue Force Tracking (BFT) system. The anticipated effort is intended to be a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. It is intended to issue delivery orders on a firm fixed price basis. Place and performance is at contractors plant. The award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The minimum order dollar value is $3,000,000.00 with a maximum order dollar value of $300,000,000.00. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T-09-R-B205 and will be issued on or about 30 Sep 2009. The anticipated award date for this action is 01 Dec 2009.
