Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for a bridge contract for Design Agent systems engineering for the SM-2 Improvement Programs, SM-6 integration, logistics engineering, White Sands Missile Range certification engineering and on-site Technical Representative support to NAVSEA IWS3A. The contractor at a minimum will provide: interface definition and data analysis and missile flight test certification; essential support for the daily operations of the SM Program Office management of the STANDARD Missile inventory and support activities for the US operational fleet; support to the STANDARD Missile International Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and FMS support for production, upgrades and improvements; subject matter expertise in analyzing and resolving export/ITAR compliance, and government engagement with international FMS issues including responses to international requests with potential international ramifications; coordination of integration activities ! for the entire FMS team; and SM-2 Development and Integration testing activities for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) FFG Upgrade. These requirements will be solicited from BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, 1601 Research Boulevard, Rockville, MD 20850. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for the posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This contract action will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
