- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans' Affairs, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital (JAHVH) located in Tampa, FL intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source requirements contract with TOSHIBA AMERICA MEDICAL SYSTEMS INC to provide: TOSHIBA MRI MED QUAD FLEX COIL PART#100-50751000-01TOSHIBA MRI LARGE QUAD FLEX COIL PART#MJQB-133A/S1 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6. 302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 3: 00 p.m. EST, 16 SEPT, 2009, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS 334416 with a size standard of 100 employees.
