- Description: RECOVERY- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR THE INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT #DOL- J06PA0007. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity is available only to the Management and Training Corporation, under contract number DOL-JO6PA00007. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps has awarded a modification in the amount of $43,765 to the Keystone Job Corps Center operated by the Management and Training Corporation. These funds are provided under The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to exceed ceiling for the Career Technical Skills Training on this contract. It would be impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification is to an existing Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract). The funding is intended to correct the following facility deficiencies identified as Green Initiative projects: Tx active cement; exterior light pollution reduction; water sense fixtures; programmable thermostats; exterior stucco; recreation electronic ballasts; solar lighting; faucet aerators; low flow shower heads and; CFI lighting.. The operator of this center will utilize these funds to make available additional Career Technical Skills Training opportunities to the students of the Keystone Job Corps Center.
