- RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT, DOLJ05QA00006. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity is available only to the Management & Training Corporation, Inc under contract number DOLJ05QA00006. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps intends to award a modification in the amount of $21,625 to the Westover Job Corps Center, operated by Management & Training Corporation. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceiling for Career Technical Skills Training on this contract. It would be impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification is to an existing Cost Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract). The funding is intended to correct the following facility deficiencies identified as Green Initiative Projects: Weatherproofing Buildings, Interior Lighting Upgrades, and Dorm Plumbing Upgrades. The operator of the Westover center will utilize these funds to make available additional Career Technical Skills Training opportunities to the students of the Westover Job Corps Center. The operator of the Westover Job Corps Center will not procure the services through subcontracting opportunities. This Modification has been awarded on September 10, 2009.
