- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx New York, Network Acquisitions and Logistics is conducting a market research for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); 8a; HubZone and Small Businesses to determine the ability and capability of meeting the government's needs for companies who are in the business of maintenance and repair of metro pool contracts for same or similar services for Steris brand "Flash Sterilizers and Endoscope Washers". Please respond to this email ONLY if you are capable and well experienced in providing same or similar services for Steris brand "Preventive Maintenance and Repair of Flash Sterilizers and Endoscope Washers" to other facilities similar to the VA New Jersey Healthcare System - East Orange and Lyons Campuses. Preventive Maintenance and repair includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, replacement of worn or defective parts, calibration/adjustment, cleaning and lubrication, etc. in accordance with the manufacturers operational characteristics, specifications and lubrication. The successful contractor shall provide the services of a customer service representative as a direct point of contract for this service requirement on a regular basis to deal with problems and monitor quality assurance of required services. Any request for technical telephone support to the contractor shall be returned within two (2) hours and a certified technician must be present on site to begin repairs within eight (8) hours of the original call. Repairs must be completed and the units must return back to being fully operational based upon manufacturer specifications within 16 business hours of initiation of service call. In your response include information about your company and prior experiences in this field and also indicate if you have prior experience with VA hospitals. Applicants must demonstrate experience of providing required services, preferred if the applicant had provided same or similar services to other VA Medical Centers throughout the United States. Interested firms must be able to provide a minimum of three "REFERENCES" for providing same or similar services. NAICS code: 811219.
