- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center, Fort McPherson, GA, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. for the period 11 September 2009 through 10 January 2010. The contractor shall assist the US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) staff lead G-3/5/7 Advanced Concepts Division (ACD) and shall provide staff support, assistance, advice and recommendations for FORSCOM participation and/or support of the Armys Campaign Plan (ACP). This includes the production of products (reports, papers, briefings, advice and/or recommendations) in support of the Major Objectives for which Commanding General (CG) FORSCOM is designated the supported commander; coordination to action, monitor or support other Army Commands (ACOMs)/agencies assigned as Major Objective supported commands; coordinate the FORSCOM staff in preparation for weekly ACP Council of Colonel meetings (O6 level); and coordination and synchronization of the FORSCOM staff in the preparation of FORSCOM senior officers (2,3, and 4-Star General Officer level) for participation in Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) or Vice Chief of Staff, Army (VCSA) ACP battle rhythm to include the monthly ACP Update (3-Star General Officer level) and Army Synchronization Meeting (3-Star General Officer Level) and the quarterly Army Review Council (4-Star General Officer level) ACP battle rhythm. Support also includes preparation of the FORSCOM Deputy Commanding General for the TRADOC Quarterly Future Review (QFR) (3-Star General Officer forum). This sole source requirement will be procured under Standard Form 1449 Commercial Award procedures. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. This sole source is to prevent delay in US Army FORSCOM mission and only one contractor can provide services at this time. The Government intends to do future service utilizing Department of the Army Civilian employees.
