Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC), 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424 has a requirement for a Braun Delta 3S32 Ironer. This requirement includes installation. NAICS Code is 331312. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, due to the fact that the item and size is only made by G.A. Braun and repairs and technical support is specific to G.A. Braun. It is the determination of the Contracting officer that the only reasonable source is G.A. Braun. In addition, the above item has characteristics that are salient to the VAMC. The above equipment is the only one that will communicate with other pieces of the laundry equipment systems, fit the overall equipment footprint, physical mobility, and a number of other special options that are specific to the VAMC laundry site at Canandaigua.
