Description
The intent of this Market Research is to determine if commercial services are available for removal and installation of 440V, 3 Phase, 60HZ, 100 GPH Lube Oil Purifier, Control Panel, and Heatpac which provide Lube Oil Purification to the cutter’s Main Diesel Engines, Diesel generators, and Reduction gears. Government Furnished Material (LOP’s) to be installed onboard four (4) 378’ WHEC Coast Guard Cutters. Approximate weight of each unit is 750lbs. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, material, tools and manpower to remove the old purifiers and replace with Alfa-Laval MAB-104 Purifier, Control Panel, and Heatpac Unit onboard each 378’ WHEC Coast Guard Cutters. Work is to be performed in accordance with. Mil-STD-Spec: 777, 1689, 2035. Work to be performed at Cutter Homeports: San Deigo, CA, Alameda, CA, Seattle, WA, and Charleston, SC. This project will consist primarily of pipe fitting, electrical, rigging, and some welding and fabrication. 1.)What type of services do you offer that might fill this requirement? 2.)Do you offer these services commercially? 3.)What services do you have that would meet Military Specification/Mil-Specs requirements? 4.)To what commercially recognized standards do you adhere when performing marine repair? 5.)What type of procedures do you recommend for testing the integrity of welds? 6.)What processes or standards due you utilize in determining piping materials and fit? 7.)What procedures do you recommend for the testing of brazed piping joints? 8.)What are your warranty terms for materials and labor? 9.)What type of volume or other discounts do you offer your customers? 10.)What is your average deployment lead-time after contract notification? 11.)Do you have a published price list of your services? 12.)Can you provide literature on the services you offer commercially? 13.)What type of services quality control plans or certifications do you provide? Please provide a copy of quality control plans if available or explain standard practice. 14.)Are your services personnel available for world-wide travel? 15.)Are you a Small or Large business?
