Description
Blue Coat Proxy Server Brand Name J&A HQ Air Education and Training Command (AETC)/Contracting Squadron(CONS), Randolph AFB, TX is considering issuing a brand name combined synopsis/solicitation for Blue Coat Proxy Servers manufactured by Blue Coat Systems, Inc for support at eleven (11) AETC bases (2 per base). The brand name requirement includes the following: SG810-25-PR Blue Coat SG810-25, Proxy Edition (22ea) SW-SSL-SG810-25 SSL License, SG810-25 (22ea) SL133Y-SG810-25-PR Standard Support, 24x7 L1-L3 Software Only, 3 YR (22ea) HNBDS3Y-SG810-25-PR Next Business Day Support, Hardware Only, 3 YR (22ea) This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item or service the government is seeking. Responses will be reviewed and may result in further clarifications to further explore commercial capabilities with selected respondents. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Any firm that believes they can satisfy the requirement described within this synopsis and the attached redacted J&A, with the Blue Coat Brand or a brand other than that of Blue Coat may submit a response for consideration via email by the closing date of 14 Sep 09, 09:00 AM Central Standard Time.
