Description
Under the authority of FAR 13.106(b), the Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office intends to negotiate a sole source award with Columbia Energy & Environmental Services (CEES) (formerly Nuvotech), located at 1806 Terminal Drive, Richland WA, 99354, for a maintenance agreement to support DOE-ID's OMNI Laboratory Information Management System. Columbia Energy & Environmental Services is the original manufacturer for OmniLIMS, and, therefore, the follow for the maintenance of this system is exclusive to this vendor. The maintenance agreement is for one year with two optional years. Under the maintenance agreement of the OmniLIMS v.2.7, CEES will provide: Access to maintenance facilities for the purposes of reporting generic defects with the delivered products, as well as problems specific to the Customer's particular implementation of these applications; Rectification of problems associated with errors or defects in the delivered systems; and Assistance with database issues specifically related to the delivered systems. The price for this maintenance agreement for one year is $9,000 with each subsequent year escalating by 3%. The total value of this award is approximately $30,000. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award to Panasonic. Responses are due by September 22, at 3:00 p.m. (MDT). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to surrusjk@id.doe. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
