Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Spacesaver automated storage equipment to include cabinets, racks and shelving for the U.S. Army Center of Military History (CMH), the lead agency for the management of the Army's historical art and artifacts. This storage equipment will be used to preserve a large collection of museum uniforms, equipage, accoutrements, arms and artwork that require proper storage. A state of the art environmental friendly storage system is required to maintain the art and artifacts. General requirements are: 1. Arms Room Cabinets on a mobile system to be constructed and installed by the vendor; 2. Museum Cabinets on a mobile system to match existing cabinets to be moved to the facility, cabinets will be constructed and installed by the vendor; 3. Wide Span Shelving to be constructed and installed by the vendor; 4. And Map Cabinets within system to be constructed and installed by the vendor.
