Description
The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and incidentals required to construct Awning & AC Enclosure at Building 3179, Naval Base Guam (NBG), in accordance with the statement of work dated 28 Aug 2009. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Construct a concrete awning to withstand a 170 mph wind speed, 10 feet width x 13 feet length x 9 feet height. See attached drawings. 2) Construct A/C decorative block enclosure to withstand a 170 mph wind speed, approximately 16 feet 4 inches width x 16 feet 8 inches length x 6 feet height. 3) Re-route emergency telephone antenna conduit in way of the new concrete roof and flashing. 4) Embed existing " copper waterline into the new concrete slab. 5) Provide new overhead light inside the awning for night time personnel entry and exit. See attached drawings. 6) Provide concrete pad for the existing AC. See attached drawings. 7) Restore all damages on site, and dispose off excess material. 8) Remove existing concrete ramp and pavement as required. Evaluation of proposals will be based on price and non-priced criteria stated in the solicitation, with contract award to be made to the offeror submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal to the Government. Performance period is estimated at 150 calendar days from date of award. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238190, other foundation, structure, and building exterior contractor and the annual size standard is $14M. The estimated cost of this contract is between $25K to $100K. The proposed contract is limited to Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns that appear on the List of Qualified SDVOSB concerns maintained by the Small Business Administration. Offers received from concerns that are not SDVOSB concerns shall not be considered. Offerors can view and download the solicitation at https://www.neco.navy.mil when it becomes available on or about 7 Sep 2009. The due date for receipt of proposals is approximately 16 calendar days from the date of issuance of the solicitation. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors.
