Description
RECOVERY - SPECIAL NOTICE - THIS OPPORTUNITY IS RESTRICTED and will be available as a competitive task order only to contractors that were awarded a U.S. FWS Region 1 IDIQ Alteration/Repair/Rehab/Demolition projects for the work category of Utilities. The USFWS has a requirement to design and install a replacement water meter system with a computerized, waterproof, metering system that includes real-time data collection. The project includes replacing 6 upper and 6 lower raceways that require metering linked wireless to an existing alarm system. This will be best value procurement with the award based primarily on the lowest price with consideration to past performance, references and technical approach. Solicitation number 10181RR824 will be posted within 10 days and may be viewed via a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at www.fedbizopps.gov. or www.nbc.gov. Prospective bidders will have approximately 10 days from the posting date to respond to the solicitation. For assistance in downloading information from the National Business Center contact the help desk at (703) 390-6633. Interested contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov. This will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract. A pre-bid site inspection is strongly suggested and will not be granted on no other day than the date and time specified. The NAICS code is 237110 and the size standard is $33.5 million. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The project number is RIPB and the Treasury symbol is 1409/101610. The work will commence upon a notice to proceed and shall be completed no later than 200 days from that date. All technical questions are to be directed to Vince Bocci at 360-425-6072 and contractual questions to Cornelius Willis at 503-872-2813. PROJECT INFORMATION: The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, permitting and final designs, specifications and installations to complete all of the requirements of this contract. The project site is the Abernathy Fish Technology Center Located at 1440 Abernathy Creek road, Longview, WA 98632.
