Description
PR No: IQC09177009007. NSN is 2995-01-105-1755, Clutch Half, Friction. This solicitation is for award of an indefinite quantity contract. The solicitation has a base year and four option years. The estimated annual quantity is 1,500 ea and the max annual quantity is 2,500 ea. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 500 ea for the base year only. FOB Origin applies. Inspection / Acceptance at Origin applies. OEM is Honeywell International, CAGE 59364, PN 3500967-1. Approved source is Borg-Warner Transmission Systems Inc, CAGE 99186, PN X138304. Other than full and open competition applies. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before the solicitation closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
