Description

DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto (Livermore Division) Health Care System plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain Waste Management services for Palo Alto (Livermore Division) Veteran Affairs Medical Center located on 6175 S. Front Road, Livermore, CA 94551-9707. The Contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and reports necessary to provide Waste Management services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Palo Alto - Livermore Division facility within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 21). The NAICS code 562111 applies with a size standard of less than 500 employees. This acquisition is unrestricted and will accept proposals from Small and Large Businesses. The contract will be a requirement type and is expected to include a base year beginning January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010, with four one-year options. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA-261-09-RP-0311. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 21, 2009 with an anticipated proposal due date of Oct 13, 2009.
