Description
This amendment is to answer questions received and to extend the date/time of requesting quotes. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation FA7000-09-T-0088 has been extended from 9 Sep 2009 12:00 A.M., MST to 11 Sep 2009, 12:00 A.M., MST. The following five questions were received and addressed: Question 1. The 12 foot parabolic dish does not state a brand name product or part number. It does state that the dishes must be "modified for FS5 signals." Can you provide the FS5 signal specification in order for us to quote the proper antenna? Answer: 12' Dish: >= 33dBi Gain, 2220MHz Question 2. The 12 foot parabolic dish includes preamplifiers and down converters, no brand name to part number included. Please specify the signal level required into the ICOM 910H transceiver, this will determine RF component selection. Answer: ICOM input signal level at 145 MHz should be.11 uv for 10 db S/N. The ICOM 910 needs to be modified such that the 10.7 MHz IF output is used to provide the 115.2 Kbps high speed down link for the FalconSAT V FSK signals. The high speed baseband signals would then be input to the Terminal Node Controller for demodulation. Question 3. What is the desired bandwidth of the Oscilloscope, Tek Series MSO2000? Answer: Minimum, 1GS/s, 100MHz BW for oscilloscope, MSO2012 Desired Question 4. For the power meters, there may be a typographic error in the manufacturer name and part number. Please confirm whether or not the correct manufacturer and P/N is "DAIWA CN103L". Answer: Daiwa CN-103NL. Question 5. Line item 001 includes assembly. Please identify if assembly includes detailed acceptance testing for the customer. Answer: Detailed acceptance testing is required for RF electronics from pre-amp through digital collection -- antenna analysis is acceptable for remaining link budget.
