Description

Sole Source Justification Letter MOTOROLA XTS 5000 RADIO ACCESSORIES: The solicitation number is FA8601-09-T-0102. The NAICS Code is 334220. The size standard is 750 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is P&R Communications Service, Inc., Dayton, OH. The purchase is for Motorola radio accessories for XTS 5000 radios. This acquisition is for 88 SFS/S4RA. These particular radio accessories are required because other manufacturer's product would not meet the specifications required for Wright-Patterson Security Forces and government specifications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to jennifer.adams2@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Jennifer Adams, 88 CONS/PKBB, and 937-257-3926 no later than 16 Sep 2009.
