Description
The Training Qualification Institute - Training Team (TQI-TT), Baghdad, Iraq APO AE 09348 is looking to purchase Law Enforcement Vehicle Operation Simulators for the Police College system to modernize the training methods for vehicle operation at these learning centers. Centers are located Baghdad Police College, Irbil Police College, Basra Police College, and Mosul Police College. The Government expects to find a manufacturer or supplier of Vehicle Operation Simulators to furnish four simulators; one to be distributed to each of the four Police Colleges in Iraq. The government expects these simulators to be designed for training police officers in basic driving skills, defensive driving skills and high speed techniques. The simulators must be of high quality and able to sustain heavy usage for training a high volume of students seven days a week year around. The equipment must use the latest technology specifically designed for training police officers in basic driving skills, defensive driving and high speed vehicle handling. All electrical components should be for 220/240 current. All audio must be an Arabic dialect that is common, known and used in Iraq. All operation manuals, maintenance manuals, instruction manuals and any other documents related to warranty, installation, operation, maintenance or use of the system MUST be printed in an Arabic dialect that is common, known, and used in Iraq. At each location the contractor will be expected to demonstrate to TQI-TT members and Iraqi Officials that the simulator is functioning properly and works as expected. The contractor is also required to teach Iraqi Instructors in the proper operation and use of the simulator. An interpreter will be provided by the TQI-TT for this training. The equipment should offer extended warranty and semi-annual on-site maintenance agreement to cover a minimum of one year from the date each system is installed and brought on line for use. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT; A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (8[a], HUBZONE, SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. When responding, please provide the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned, large, etc? under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333319 which contains a size standard of 500 employees. (3) DUNS, Cage Code, and Tax ID (4) Information on the type of simulator your company will provide, including specifications. (5) Description of the physical characteristics of the simulator. (6) Description of the physical requirements for facilities. (7) The delivery time, in calendar days, for all equipment and materials from date of award of the contract.
