Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation HSSS01-09-R-0056 will be issued as a request for proposals. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 561990 and the small business size standard is $6.5M. The United States Secret Service has a requirement for on-site calibration and maintenance of all HAZMAT Detection meters. It is anticipated that the performance-based contract will provide for 3-month base period and four options year periods. The Government contemplates award of contract resulting from the solicitation. Solicitation HSSS01-09-R-0056 is being posted electronically to www.fbo.gov concurrent with this publication, with a 15 calendar day response period.
