Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to procure a combination firm fixed price and time and material contract for on-call/per-call preventive maintenance, repair, reconfiguration and deinstallation, as well as upgrades to increase the size, speed, and performance, as needed for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI), SUN Microsystems, Hewlett Packard (HP) and various other manufactured Information Technology (IT) equipment and attached peripherals located at China Lake NAWS and Point Mugu Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC). Peripherals can include, but are not limited to monitors; keyboards, tape drives, and disk drives (may be third party). This encompasses existing equipment and equipment that will be acquired during the life of the contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake and Point Mugu, California. The resulting contract is intended to be for a period of one year with options for an additional four years. Due to a souces sought this procurement well be a hubzone set-aside. The numbers of on-call systems covered are 105 plus accessories. Per-call systems are 18 with less than 30 labor hours over two years. Work will be perforemed at China Lake, Point Mugu, and San Nicolas Island. To qualify for award, all firms must be able to obtain and maintain a facility clearance. Contractor personnel performing under the resulting contract will be required to have and maintain a security clearance up to and including the SECRET level. A list of the existing inventory to be supported will be provided with the solicitation. Solicitation N68936-09-R-0022 will be issued on or about 21 September, 2009 and close 30 days later. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for an award. Question should be address to Ronald Lim and must reference N68936-09-R-0022.
