Description
This announcement is in support of Market Research performed by the Rock Island Contracting Center to determine interest in a multiple year services contract for the Multi-National Corps Iraq (MNC-I). The contract would be for two years, consisting of a six-month base and three six-month option periods. Purpose of the contract: To provide an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the management and provision of Advisor & Atmospherics technical support services to United States Forces-Iraq (USF-I) in the Iraq Joint Operations Area (IJOA). There are two basic categories of service required, advisor services and atmospherics. Advisors range from executive level advisors supporting senior USF-I leaders to subject matter experts in the areas of: a.Governance/public administration. b.Rule of law. c.Civil justice, criminal justice, and the court system. d.Detention operations. e.Urban planning/infrastructure engineering. f.Economics and commerce. g.Business development. h.Agricultural/irrigation engineering. i.Essential services (electrical power and oil & petroleum). j.Medical. k.Veterinary. l.Education. m.Culture/religion. n.Military operations. The advisors purpose is to enhance the capabilities of US Forces operating in the IJOA and assist the command in gaining a deeper understanding of the many complex issues across Iraq. Atmospherics is anecdotal information derived from varied native sources across the IJOA. The purpose of atmospherics type information is to enhance the commands situational awareness across the IJOA, concentrating on the Iraqi viewpoint of life in Iraq, the Government of Iraq, US Forces, key events, and other perceptions that are relevant to accomplishing the mission in Iraq.
