- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA4877-09-Q-0677 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36, Defense Circular 20090825, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2009-0803. (iv) This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 321920 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. (v) The requested product is being purchased for the 305th RQS on Davis-Monthan AFB. The contractor shall provide the following: CLIN0001- Two Piece Operations Case (1 Each) - Dimensions: LR=21.5" x FB=30" x TB=72" (Including Castors). - Two like size cases (upper and lower) must be ganged together via heavy gauge steel recessed ganging system and be highly ruggedized and durable (provide us with your solution for this requirement). - ½" Construction, fully riveted with 12 gauge steel protective corners. - Recessed spring loaded handles. - Recessed spring loaded twist latches. - Four wheel dolly system - must lock and remove simultaneously. - Warranty of all components (please provide us with your warranty information). - Each piece of the two shall include 16 rack rails (32 total) - Interior and exterior must be finished and textured with a durable material (such as an epoxy) - Shall confrom to Air Transportation Association Specification 300 standards, category 1 as well as pertinent MIL-STD 810 specifications. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.204-9, Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel - contractor shall comply with agency personal identity verification procedures identified in the contract that implement Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidance M-05-24, and Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS PUB) Number 201.
