Description
This Request for Information (RFI) IS NOT a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Response to the RFI WILL NOT serve as proposals, bids, or offers, which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Eielson AFB, Alaska is seeking sources capable of providing the following: As requested, the system consists of the following major components. 48 ea Concorde PVX-1250HT batteries, rack mounted 6 ea Kyocera KC-130TM 130w solar panel 1 ea Outback FlexMax 60 controller 1 ea Delta LA-302DC lightning arrestor The system also consists of the following: 1 ea Adjustable roof-mount solar array 1 ea MNPV-3 combiner with 10A breakers 1 ea MNPV-6 combiner with 20A breakers 1 ea Battery rack The solar array will be an adjustable roof-mount installation. The terminals should be protected in weatherproof junction boxes. All external wiring should be enclosed in liquid-tight flex conduit. The solar consists of two 36VDC strings. Each string should be protected by 10A circuit breakers. The battery bank will consist of four 24VDC circuits. Each 24V circuit is protected by 20A breakers. All primary interior cable runs are enclosed in raceway. All interested businesses are hereby invited to submit a technical capability statement of no more than five pages to demonstrate their technical abilities. Interested parties shall also include a cover letter that includes company name, points of contract, telephone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses for points of contact, and identifies the company as one or more of the following: 1) small business; 2) 8(a) business; 3) HUBZone small business; 4) small disadvantaged business; 5) woman-owned small business; (6) veteran-owned small business; (7) service-disabled veteran-owned small business, or (8) large business. If additional information is required to complete your technical capability statement, please submit email request to the below email address. Electronic responses are the preferred method for submission of information.
