- RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9127N09P0418 Portland District Corps of Engineers intends to award a contract using recovery act funding to solicitation number W9127N-09-P-0418 for the procurement and installation of playground equipment. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (NWP) has a requirement for Bonneville Lock and Dam Visitor Center playground equipment. The project will include procurement and installation. Detailed specification will be inclusive in the solicitation package. This procurement is open to small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 339920 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Magnitude of Construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Interested business concerns must be enrolled in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov to conduct business with the Department of Defense. A Request for Quote (RFQ) utilizing the lowest price method will be issued. Evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation, and a single firm fixed-price contract will be awarded. The solicitation for this project will be issued in electronic format on/or about 04 September 2009 with a proposal due date 7 days after issuance; a notice and link to download this solicitation via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm) will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity (www.fbo.gov) when the solicitation is available for download. Interested parties must be registered in FedTeDS to download the solicitation information. Interested parties are responsible for checking the referenced websites for any update(s).
