- Product Description to Include Accessories This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is F9J1FG9177A001 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). RFQs are due by September 15, 2009, 12:00 PM CST. The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335312. The Small Business Standard Size is 1000 employees. The 149 Fighter Wing, Lackland AFB, TX is soliciting quotes to procure the following commercial item: CLIN 0001 - Cummins 80 kW Generator, 165 gallon diesel fuel tank, 75 DBA sound enclosure (see the attached full product description and accessories) This is a Brand Name or Equal, and award will be based on lowest price and technically accepted, both having equal weight. Also, award will be based on All or None referencing accessories to the main unit. Offerors who bid an equal to product MUST submit with their offer the technical specification data. The Government will consider the product (equal), but the features and capability output must meet the specifications of the Cummins 80 kW generator.
