Description: Replace sprinkler heads in the North, South and West Dormitories. SCOPE OF SPRINKLER SYSTEMS MODIFICATION AND ALTERATION 1. The Sprinkler systems shall be designed, furnished and installed by this Contractor. 2. The Sprinkler systems modifications and alterations shall include the following: In Buildings 3 (Project # 72000), 4 (Project #71998), and 5 (Project # 71999), replace all sprinklers heads serving the second floor dormitory area with sprinkler heads with pipe extensions as required by a dry sprinkler system. Provide adequate pipes' slope for proper system drainage. Inspect and test system in accordance with applicable NFPA standards. Repair piping connections as may be required. Test and place building systems in full operable mode. Obtain the services of a licensed architect/engineer to review the contractor design submittals, equipment submittals, and shop drawings as well as to conduct progress inspections.
