- Description
- The 5th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a software upgrade to operate Fadal 88HS CNC Milling Machine located at Minot AFB, ND. This software upgrade is to include FeatureMill 3D (key 1610), USB (security key free with upgrade purchase), Delcam ArtCAM, and annual software maintenance. The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 5th Contracting Squadron intends to enter into a firm, fixed-price contract with Delcam USE, 275 East South Temple Suite #305, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541512 with a size standard not to exceed $25 million. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
