Description
Carrying and Storage Case p/o AN/PVS-4( ) Night Vision Sight This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the Carrying and Storage Case (NSN: 5855-01-040-3793 and p/n SM-D-850480-2) p/o AN/PVS-4( ) Night Vision Sight. The Carrying and Storage Case is a portable container that holds the AN/PVS-4( ) Night Vision Sight. During operation, the AN/PVS-4( ) Night Vision Sight provides improved night vision using available light from the night sky. The sight enables the user to perform normal tasks such as reading, walking, driving on the ground, or surveillance during times of darkness. The Government is seeking to identify vendors with the capability to provide this item in accordance with C-E LCMC drawings (SM-D-850480-2). The Government intends to purchase the Carrying and Storage Case using an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period with an estimated maximum contract quantity of 3,000 over the contractual period. The contractor shall be able to deliver 100 units/month. If First Article Testing is required, the contractor shall start deliveries 270 days after the order is placed. Without First Article Testing, the contractor shall deliver 180 days after the order is placed. Interested sources must submit the following information, NLT 17 September 2009, to C-E LCMC LRC, IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-II (Neeta Jonchhe), Bldg. 1201, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703, or e-mail to shrestha.jonchhe@us.army.mil: (1)Identification of the contractor as a Large or a Small Business. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUB Zone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. (2)Past Performance for this or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part number, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. (3)The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item. (4)The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. For more information contact shrestha.jonchhe@us.army.mil
