- RECOVERY - Automatic Freeze Substitution System This is a market research/sources sought notice. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotation and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this notice. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition; (3) whether they are small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; woman-owned small business; small disadvantaged businesses. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has a requirement for an Automatic Freeze Substitution System. The system shall consist of the following: •- pre-configured system •- substitution-capsule, flat embedding and microtube embedding system; •- with freeze substitution processor •- with complete microscope outfit This is a market research/sources sought and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research/sources sought. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this market research/sources sought.
