RECOVERY FOR INFORMATION ONLY FBO POSTING RECOVERY Action: This notice is provided FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES only. We are not soliciting new vendors. This opportunity is available ONLY to contractors under the NASA SEWP Program. Proposals will not be accepted in response to this announcement. TASK: FCE759IHSR TYPE: Fixed Price TASK DESCRIPTION: Recovery NIPRS Capitol Upgrades and Replacements Recovery Act Information As required by the American Recovery and Revitalization Act of 2009 (ARRA) and policy established by GSA a stand alone order will be issued incorporating the following ARRA information and clause language as follows: •FAR Case 2009-008, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the ARRA) -- Buy American Requirements for Construction Materials; •FAR Case 2009-009, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the ARRA) -- Reporting Requirements; •FAR Case 2009-010, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the ARRA) -- Publicizing Contract Actions; •FAR Case 2009-011, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the ARRA) -- GAO/IG Access; and FAR Case, 2009-012, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the ARRA) -- Whistleblower Protections BACKGROUND: Hundreds of healthcare professionals and individuals who manage and provide support for IHS activities use information from the National Patient Information and Resources System (NIPRS). NIPRS is a national repository of healthcare information gathered from associated IHS, Tribal and Urban healthcare sites and regional administrative offices of the Indian health system. The purpose of NIPRS is to provide a broad system to allow them to better manage individual patients, local facilities and regional and national programs to allow IHS management to provide legislatively required reports to the Administration and Congress. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide the necessary hardware, software and services listed below, throughout the duration of the contract. •Acquisition and Install of P550-P6 •Acquisition and Install of Web/Windows Servers •Acquisition and Install of 9117-570 Server •Acquisition of Microsoft Project Server Software •Tivoli System Management Review, Update and Services •Tivoli System Migration to V6.1 Services •Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) Express Management Review, Update and Services •Business Objects Review, Update and Services Applicability to IHS Health IT Recovery Plan The requirements of this modification are to support the projects planned by IHS for ARRA funding. These projects include Health IT systems research, development, modernization, enhancement, and operation. These projects support the IHS mission to improve access, quality, safety and overall health status of American Indian/Alaska Native patients and populations. For over 25 years, the IHS has been a recognized leader in Health Information Technology (HIT). The IHS HIT solution) has been leveraged The RPMS to ensure improvements in patient and population health within IHS and outside of the federal government. The broad objective of this task is to enhance the clinical decision support, clinical performance assessment, and integrated patient and population health management capabilities of the IHS RPMS. These capabilities are in direct support of the IHS Director’s Chronic Care Initiative and other key national healthcare and health information technology initiatives.
