Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z0369212AG01; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-34, effective date May 14, 2009; Defense DCN 20090115, effective date 15 Jan 2009; and AFAC 2009-0318 effective date 18 Mar 2009. This acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310. The business size standard is 750 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5830. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3651. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for an ear monitor system. Line Item 001- Qty 8ea; Dual- Channel IEM Transmitter: must broadcast a stereo signal with a power of 100mw per broadcast channel. The transmitter unit must have 2 separate XLR connections for each stereo broadcast channel. It must be capable of broadcasting in the 588-626 MHz frequency range. The transmitter needs to operate between 100-240 Voltz AC utilizing an internal power supply. It mush have a minimum of 24 frequency presets with switchable bandwith. Line Item 002-Qty. 8ea; IEM Body Pack Receiver: the in-ear drive must have a minimum frequency response of 25-15,000 HZ. Line Item 003- Qty. 2ea; Active Broadband Antenna Combiner, up to 8 XMTR: 8-to-1 antenna combiners' rack mountable. Line Item 004-Qty. 2ea; Portable Directional Outboard Antenna: Directional antenna capable of broadcasting the frequencies of the transmitter. This antenna will be of a Yagi, circularly, polarized or similar design. Line Item 005-Qty. 8ea; Three Feet of RG58 cable with BNC Connectors. Line Item 006-Qty. 1ea; Twenty-Five Feet of RG58 with BNC Connectors. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (June 2008). FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
