Description
Microsoft Word 2003 file entitled: IRRIGATION REPAIR SERVICES REQUIRED AT BEALE AFB, CA.doc NOTE: THIS IS A SOURCES-SOUGHT REQUEST. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT...WHICH IS EXPECTED TO BE AWARDED IN FY '10. AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM REPAIR--SERVICES AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM REPAIR--PARTS SERVICES NON-PERSONAL--The Contractor shall provide all personnel, parts, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure the automatic irrigation system at Beale AFB is in working order. Work performed by the Contractor shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions and commercial practices. See attached list for complete description of items requiring repair. Parts supplied must be identical to the parts being replaced...except that with the Government's approval substitutions may be used if the Contractor determines...and the Government agrees that the original parts will not provide adequate water coverage. The Contractor shall notify the Government's representative and seek prior approval before making substitutions. Vehicles and other equipment used in support of any resulting contract shall be functional and in safe operating condition. The Contracting Officer or his/her designated representative may inspect the Contractor's equipment and vehicles at any time and may direct the removal from the base of any unsafe or non-functional equipment or vehicles. The Contractor shall provide daily status of work performed (e-mail notification is acceptable). All work will be inspected by the Government at the time of completion. Any work deemed unsatisfactory will be reperformed within 24 hours of notification at no increase in contract price. The Contractor will be responsible to repair or replace Government equipment or personal property of base tenants damaged by the Contractor as a result of performance on any resulting contract. Repair or replacement must be accomplished within 15 days of the occurrence at no cost to the Government.
