PCI Interface cards with two channels of dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 with dual function (BC/Mon or RT/Mon) capability. Software applications used with the PCI Interface cards to interpret and analyze 1553 communications. At least one of the interface cards must be able to connect to a PC laptop computer through a 54mm ExpressCard slot. Quantity must be sufficient to equip 3 desktop computers and one laptop computer. Products provide MIL-STD-1553 Mux communications interface for PC computers used during software development for aircraft subsystems that communicate using MIL-STD-1553 Mux interface. quantity 4 - PCI-1553-2D - PCI Interface with Two Channels of Dual Redundant MIL-STD-1553 with Dual function (BC/Mon rmRT/Mon) Capability. Included: Transition Cable with Standard 1553 3-Slot female Connectors and AltaAPI Software quantity 1 - Magma-PCI-PCIEC54-1 - 1 Slot, Half Length PCI Expansion to PCI ExpressCard 54mm Adapter (custom configuration) quantity 4 - AltaView-000-001 - AltaView Analyzer Software for MIL-STD-1553 Alta Card. This purchase is a sole source purchase for the following reasons: Alta Data Technologies MIL-STD-1553 interface cards are used with other subsystem OFP software development environments set up within 309 SMXG. Development and test engineers are trained to use 1553 interface cards and associated software and requirements to train on a different interface system would not be expected to be recoverable to the government. Alternative sources for 1553 Mux interface cards would impose additional infrastructure costs.
