Description
Custom Mobile Music Library This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ FA4800-09-P-TJO1. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business.The associated NAICS code is 337214 with a 500 employee size standard. This RFQ contains 1 line item. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001 Custom Mobile Music Library System. One 11ft single faced ststionary unit with three sections of 24 inch shelving,three 11 ft double faced carriages each with six sections 16" deep shelving,one 17ft double faced carriage with eight sections of 16"deep shelving,one 12ft double faced carriage with three sections of 12" deep shelving and three sections of 18" inch deep shelving.one 12ft single faced stationary unit with 18" deep shelving. Shelf sections be 36" or 48" wide. A 19"x 27" wire cart with two swivel wheels and two large wheels is required.All 24" deep and 16' deep sections of shelving shall have 5 shelves per section. 15" deep shelving is not acceptable to to box size. All 12" deep sections shall have 6 shelves per section,two adjustable dividers and one 9" high findable book end per shelf. One 18"x 48" wide section shall have 10 adjustable shelves,the two adjacent sections of 18' deep shelving shall have 5 shelves each. Each of the three sections of 18" deep shelving on the stationary platforn shall have abottom shelf,two intermediate shelves, and three rows of acid-free hanging compartments. Each row shall ahve20 v based compartments with magnified index label holders, and color coded index guides.Each compartment shall be 18"x 15 3/8" high and shall snap to the adjacent compartment. The overall system height shall not exceed 84".All paintedcomponets shall be painted withpowder coat paint.A scaled drawing with shelf sections designated must be provided. Capacity 1,280 boxes End Item Description. Submittal of "Or Equal" items are allowed under this solicitation. When quoting an "or equal" item, offeror must submit all descriptive literature, specifications, catalogs, etc., along with their quotation, necessary to meet the requirements of this solicitation to be eligible for award. FOB point is Destination. The required delivery date is 28 Sept 2009. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following DFARS clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: 252.204-7004, Alternate A, 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman, 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to Air Force Installation. Addenda to FAR 52.212-5: The following additional clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.233-2, Service of Protest: (a) Protest, as defined in section 33.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, that are filed directly with an agency, and copies of any protests that are filed with the General Accounting Office (GAO), shall be served on the Contracting Officer Patricia F. EVALUATION OF QUOTATIONS/OFFERS: Quotes/offers will be evaluated IAW 13.106-2. Award will be made to the responsible offeror who's quote/offer represents the best value in terms of technical (capability of item(s) offered to meet the government need), price, and past performance, which will be most advantageous to the government.
