Description
The Puget Sound VA Medical Center is seeking potential sources toprovide maintenance and support for the VA Puget Sound Health CareSystem C&P program.Compensation and Pension (C&P) Exam Quality, Education, and Analysis isrequired to provide oversight for the Compensation and PensionEvaluation Program (CPEP), education of C&P examiners and administrationsupport staff on current Veterans Health Administration and VeteransBenefits Administration requirements and procedures relating toconducting and reporting C&P exams, and analysis of the VA Puget SoundC&P process to identify improvements. Puget Sound currently performs exams for about 250 veteran claimants permonth and may increase to 350 exams per month beginning in October 2009.The exams are conducted at both the American Lake and Seattle campusesand the contractor is required to perform services for exams conductedat both locations. Workload is projected at 26 hours per week.This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources soughtsynopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge ofpotential qualified sources and their size classification (servicedisabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business,relative to NACIS 541618. Responses to this synopsis will be used by theGovernment to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to thisnotice should include company name, a service capability statement,three customer references to which you have provided similar servicesto, copies of applicable licensing, product catalog, address, point ofcontact, and the size of your business pursuant to the followingquestion: Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Smallor Veteran Owned Small Business? Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Clint.McCoy@va.gov.Telephone inquires will not be accepted. Responses must be received inwriting no later than Tuesday, 15 September 2009 at 4:00 p.m. Thisnotice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitationis not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will beannounced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond tothat solicitation announcement separately from the responses to thisannouncement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are notconsidered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements.Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to aprospective bidders list or to receive a copy of future solicitations.
