- Accessable Picnic Table Drawing This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS?SOLICITATION for comercial items prepared in acordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information inthis notice. This announcement constitutes the only solitation issued as A Request for Quotation (RFQ) AG-046W-S-09-0072. A written solicitaiton will not be issued. FAR clauses and provisitions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 and available in full test through internet access at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurment is a total small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code if 337122 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. QUOTES ARE DUE for this combined synopsis/solicitation on September 15, 2009 at 4:30 PM Pacific Time and shall be delivered by the specified time to the US Forest Service, Northwest Oregon Contracting Area, 16400 Champion Way, Sandy, OR 97055, ATTN: Contracting Office, Cindy Korman. Faxed quotes will be accepted (503-668-1763). Quoters must furnish the company name, DUNS number, TIN Number, address, phone and fax number, email address if available and official point of contact. All quotes must be signed by authorized company official and faxed to 503-668-1763. All quotations or offers shall be considered. To be considered for award, vendor must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov and complete the Reps and Certs information online at the ORCA website, http://orca.bpn.gov/. All questions regarding this solicitation should be faxed to 503-668-1763 or emailed to ckorman@fs.fed.us. The contractor shall provide 103 (each) ADA (American with Disabilities Act) compliant picnic tables for the Zigzag Ranger District on the Mt. Hood National Forest. These tables are to be made of wood and completely treated to endure the wet climate in the area. Since this is an eating surface, it must be treated with the only current FDA approved treatment for this use, which is Cu-8. If the tables are constructed with heart redwood, a finish would not be necessary. The table length must be 8 feet long (please see attached drawing). The Wood thickness shall be apoximately 3 inches minimum. Please include in your quote freight cost for delivery to the Zigzag Ranger District Work Center located at 70220 E. Hwy. 26, Zigzag Or. 97049. They may be delivered either unassembled or assembled, please provide pricing for either way. If delivered unassembled, detailed instructions and hardware must be provided. Notice must be given to Kathleen Walker(503-622-3191) at least 72 hours prior to delivery. All tables shall be delivered and unloaded by the contractor or contract carrier at the delivery location. Please provide in your quote the timeline for manufacture and delivery.
