Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for sandblasting and painting of underwater arrays. The solicitation number for this requirement, issued as a request for quote, is N00253-09-T-0182. This requirement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. This procurement will be solicited and awarded as a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a minimum guarantee of $7,810.00. This requirement is for a base ordering period of one year, with four one year option periods. The maximum estimated quantity requirements for the base year are ten (10) Rigid/Rigid Arrays and six (6) Semi-Rigid Arrays. The following four one year option period maximum estimated quantities are identical to each other and are as follows: six (6) Rigid/Rigid Arrays and three (3) Semi/Rigid Arrays. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Bangor, WA 98345. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. This requirement is being solicited as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332812 with a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on 31 AUG 2009. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 15 SEP 2009. When issued, the RFQ will be posted electronically via NECO. RFQ (solicitation package) will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil and Federal Business Opportunities http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and is available for download. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from these websites and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to jamil.alagba@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO or Federal Business Opportunities website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete all line item pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) provide manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/).
