Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W917PM-09-R-0120. This proposed procurement is unrestricted. NAICS 237310 Airport Runway Construction, small business size standard $33,500,000.00. Estimated cost of construction is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. Construction duration will be 360 days. Construct an aviation parking apron (120,000m2) and surfaced (210mm), along with a taxiway (4,880m2) and surfaced (210mm). The Project will also include: lighting, markings, tie-downs and grounding points. All parking spaces must be designed to support, at the minimum, a CH-47 helicopter. Supporting facilities will include electrical and water distribution systems, roads, and site improvements. Pavements and spacing will be CH-47 capable, and aircraft barriers will be provided only when required for parking other armed helicopters. The forward-area refueling point (FARP) must be constructed with eight (8) points, also CH-47 capable. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper.
