- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither asolicitation announcement nor a request for proposals/quotes and doesnot obligate the Government to award a contract. Responses to thisSources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources SoughtAnnouncement is for market research to make appropriate acquisitiondecisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service DisabledVeteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a),Hub-Zone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of performingthe required work. Responses to this notice shall include the following:(a) company name b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, andemail (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of smallbusiness, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business,Veteran-Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUB-Zone, Women Owned SmallBusiness, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business HUB-ZoneBusiness and (i) capability statement that addresses the organizationsqualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the workdescribed below. Description: Request for sources for the provision of CardiacPerfusionist Services on an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantitybasis. Contractor staff must be available 24-hours per day, 7-days perweek to include weekends and holidays. Staff must have the ability togain privileges with the University of Miami, Department ofCardiothoracic Surgery and/or the Jackson Memorial Hospital, Departmentof Surgery during the Miami VAHCS' Operating Room renovation project. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse anycosts associated with responding to this sources sought synopsisrequest. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by theGovernment to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nordoes it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.The Government will in no way be bound to this information if anysolicitation is issued. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for thisacquisition is 621399 ($10.0 million). Notice to Potential Offerors: AllOfferors who provide goods or services to the United States FederalGovernment must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR located on the web at www.ccr.gov). It is desirable that anyOfferor to have completed their business Online Representations andCertifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service DisabledVeteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to asolicitation must be registered with the Department of Veterans AffairsCenter for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located athttp://vip.vetbiz.gov.
